This October, we welcomed our community into the atelier for a glimpse into our brand’s ethos, craftsmanship and processes. Friends and media got an intimate preview of our upcoming collections, while like-minded partners and longtime collaborators showcased their craft alongside ours, providing a tangible experience of what IN GOOD COMPANY truly represents.

In our atelier—a space dedicated to craftsmanship and mindful design—we envisioned an event with the warmth and intimacy of a maker’s market; a gathering where creativity and community converge. More than an exhibition, it was a meeting of makers, artisans and admirers who share a deep appreciation for the values we stand for.

Amidst the hum of voices, our guests were invited to touch, try and connect with the clothes and materials firsthand. The atelier became a sensory landscape where traditional techniques met personal expression, offering a momentary pause from the ordinary. The air was filled with the textured, steady buzz of creation—of paper folding, metal shaping, and a table of fabrics. It was the perfect invitation to slow down, observe, and take part in the tangible beauty of hands at work.

The Atelier

Our newly renovated space now embodies an openness that encourages creativity to unfold naturally. An elevated ceiling offers more breathing room, turning the atelier into a sanctuary designed for calm, clarity and unbroken flow. Each line and surface has been crafted to support a seamless experience, where movement feels unrestrained and intuitive. This allows ideas to circulate freely, creating a rhythm that feels woven into the walls themselves. Above all, our atelier was conceived as a reflection of our values—a place that cultivates focus and intention.

A Glimpse into the Collection

In a rare and quietly momentous unveiling, we presented an intimate showcase of our forthcoming collection, which speaks to the essence of our evolving vision. This preview brought our guests closer to the pieces, allowing them to see our inspiration boards and understand the subtle details that make each design distinctive. In the carefully arranged space, textures and silhouettes became tangible, revealing the quiet strength of the construction of each piece, our commitment to thoughtful form and function, and the intentional simplicity that lies at its core.

Offering an experience in restraint and detail, the clothes invited guests to engage and discover the ways in which our upcoming designs push our familiar language of craft into new territory. They  hint at what’s next, in the form of shapes and finishes that hold our future vision, designed to unfold over time.

Better Together

Staying true to our spirit of collaboration and community, our like-minded partners joined us in transforming the atelier into a living showcase, where each station told a story of craft and intention. Plain Vanilla brought their signature treats to the table, complementing the atmosphere with their refined flavours, while Two Men Bagel House offered a comforting, satisfying touch to the proceedings.

The setting encouraged exploration: guests wandered from one craftsperson’s table to another, discovering the unique artistry each brought to the collective experience. From our collaboration with paper artist Diana Beltrán Herrera, to our partnership with Mud Rock Ceramics, the act of making became a shared language; a point of connection that bridged process and purpose.

Metal Stamping with Bare Metal Co.

Endeavouring to create an opportunity for guests to immerse themselves in hands-on workshops, we worked with Bare Metal Co. to introduce a new rhythm to the atelier through metal stamping. This exercise gave guests the opportunity to discover the precision and patience required to shape raw material, with every distinct mark being a tribute to the small, imperfect details that define genuine craftsmanship. The steady beats of stamp against metal also infused the space with a grounded energy—a beautiful contrast to the calm minimalism all around.

Patchwork Tote and Paper Charm Making with IN GOOD COMPANY

Other craft experiences offered a study in quieter artistry, while offering a glimpse into the textures and details that define our work. Inspired by the layered composition of the DRAKE Top, our patchwork tote session invited guests to handle a selection of core fabrics—each offering a unique tactile experience—as they layered and arranged materials on hand-sewn totes crafted in our atelier.

We also introduced the art of creating intricate bag charms as a thoughtful echo of our POUF Bag’s botanical detail. Here, guests worked with paper templates printed by Allegro Print, our trusted partner, allowing them to embrace the quiet precision and rhythms of making by hand. Whether tote or charm, each piece became a personal exploration of craftsmanship and intentional design, embodying the same care and purpose that guide our collections.

As the day drew to a close, the atelier began to carry subtle traces of each creation—a canvas of patchwork totes, stamped metal pieces, and delicate paper charms, each infused with the presence and intention of those who crafted them. This gathering reminded us of what lies at the heart of our work: a commitment to authentic craftsmanship, the value of collaboration, and the understated beauty that emerges when design and hands meet purpose. Each guest and partner became part of this shared experience, a testament to the enduring appeal of thoughtful making.

In bringing our community closer to our process, we found a renewed sense of purpose—a reminder of why we pursue these traditions, and how they continue to inspire what lies ahead. It’s this continual unfolding of craft that propels us forward on a journey we’re eager to continue. To those who joined us, to those who support and share in our vision, we extend our heartfelt gratitude, and invite you to remain a part of this evolving story as we explore new creativity and meaning in the pursuit of timeless design.
