IN GOOD COMPANY Accessories Capsule | Minimalism
In collaboration with ArtScience Museum
and National Gallery Singapore.

Inspired by the ideas and forms found in the art works featured in Minimalism: Space. Light. Object, each piece draws on some of the principals from this groundbreaking phenomenon: repetition of geometrical form, simplified and constructed to create dynamic accessory designs. Featuring pared-back metal work and line structures, the capsule offers three designs across two colours. Each piece is meticulously assembled and finished by hand.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

MINIMALISM: SPACE LIGHT. OBJECT.
16 Nov 2018 - 14 Apr 2019

See more through less at the first Minimalism exhibition in Southeast Asia, set across two leading cultural institutions: National Gallery Singapore and ArtScience Museum.

Led by National Gallery Singapore, the exhibition features works that explore the history and legacy of this ground-breaking art movement, which continues to inform a wide range of art forms and practitioners across the world today. The exhibition at National Gallery Singapore looks at the emergence, development, and legacies of Minimalism from the 1950s to the present day. It considers how artists in Asia, the United States and Europe have explored ideas of presence and absence, often informed by Asian philosophies such as Zen Buddhism. The exhibition features more than 100 artworks, immersive site-specific installations, and programmes by over 60 artists.

ArtScience Museum’s exhibition will present a thematic exhibition exploring form, colour and spirituality, presenting artworks which meditate on notions of emptiness, nothingness and the cosmological void – principles that are foundational to Minimalism and resonate with eastern philosophies and science.
